• Fall Decor- The Naturally Urban™ Way

  What's not to love about fall? The weather is finally cooling down, the kids are back in school, and booya is being sold every weekend. One of our favorite reasons to love fall is that decorating is made so simple. Grab a few mums, a couple bundles of corn stalks, pumpkins and some gourds and go to town.
  

  
  The shopping list for fall decor is short, but the list of possibilities is endless. You can simply set the mums and pumpkins on your door step, spill the gourds over a table, or you can get a little creative. Allow us to show you a few ideas...

  
  

  String up those gourds! Straighten out a wire hanger and tape a piece of twine to one end. Push the wire through the gourds to permeate the hole and pull the twine through.

  Fill a glass container with mini gourds and pumpkins for an instant center piece. Do the same with corn cobs.

  Paint pumpkins in fun patterns.

  If you're tired of trying to come up with clever ideas for carving pumpkins, try drilling holes in them after you've cleaned them out. This is a more simple and sophisticated look for Mr. Jack O'Lantern!        (photo from MarthaStewart.com)

  Make an arrangement out of dried stems from your garden. These arrangements aren't just beautiful, they'll also last longer than a fresh one!
