• Tour of Linder’s Perennial Area

  Let’s take another tour of one of our great areas of our garden center.

   

  Here at Linder’s, Perennials are one of our biggest passions. If you have never seen our perennial section at our Garden Center, this tour should be proof that we strive to provide a wide range of perennials that will perform in our crazy Minnesota climate.

  Our perennial area can be broken down into a few different categories. The main categories being shade perennials, sun perennials, native perennials. No matter what kind of perennial you’re looking for, you can find a number of options that will suit your individual needs. 

  Many people become frustrated with shady areas in their landscape. Our shade perennial area will wow you with a wide range of selection. You’ll find the most popular choices like hostas, astilbes, coral bells and bleeding hearts, but you’ll also see more rare choices that you won’t find every where else.

  
  

  
  

  Step outside and you’ll find tables and displays full of perennials for the sun. You’ll find our perennials lined up on tables as well as displayed in arrangements that will inspire you to create gorgeous combinations of your own or to pick up those plants and recreate the display in your own space.

  Even if you aren’t a perennial enthusiast, feel free to wander and pick out what ever catches your eye or ask one of the perennial staff for help. They know their perennials and will be sure to help you find the perfect specimen!

  If it’s native perennials you crave, look no further. We’ve got one of the best assortments of natives in the area. Native plants have grown and adapted to our climate for many, many years thus giving any one that grows them a great chance at having success.

  
  

  Don’t forget that perennial plants can be planted now through the fall so long as they are watered frequently to promote a healthy root system.
