Flower Marts Fundraising
Planning for spring 2010? Here’s a proven promotion for your groups fundraising endeavors. It’s very simple and doesn’t require your presence at the event to make it happen. The success of your fundraising event relies on your promotional skills and enthusiasm. In 2009 alone, Linder’s Greenhouses, Garden Center and Flower Marts mailed checks totaling over $66,000.00 dollars to the participating groups.

How it works…
- Your group will receive a check for 15% of the total pre-tax amount spent during your selected weekend accompanied with the ‘Invitation‘. As an example: Joe brings his ‘Invitation‘ and spends $256.90 over the weekend, pre-tax amount was $238.27 your 15% fundraising earnings would be $35.74.
- Pick one weekend in May, Friday through Monday, that’s offered for this event.
- Sign up on line using the link below. ****
- We will create a personalized ‘Invitation‘ for your supporters and send it to you, preferably via Email. Print as many as you need, or forward the file to interested parties.
- Get the word out! Use flyers, post in bulletins, letters, school newspapers, email, and shout it from the roof tops!! If you need a Linder’s logo for your ad endeavors contact the fundraising Dept.
- Send your supporters, with ‘Invitation‘ in hand, to shop on your chosen weekend at any of our 50 Flower Marts or the main garden center.
- At the register they must submit their ‘Invitations‘ to participate. The cashier will write in the customer’s pre-tax total and retain the ‘Invitation‘ for our accounting purposes.
The weekend dates for this event are the following:
April 30-May 3, May 7-10, May 14-17 and May 21-24.

There are no restrictions as to how many times an individual can visit the retail stores during your selected weekend, although they must present a coupon/invitation each time they purchase.
Linder’s insists upon your cooperation in respecting our customers and other organizations participating by not soliciting our customers at the Flower Mart locations. We also prohibit our staff from distributing invitations at any of our locations as well. Violation of this prohibition may result in voiding your participation.

If you are not a current Fundraising Customer: Please click here to download an application and get started today! If your business/organization is a tax exempt entity and you do not to want to be charged tax on your purchases at Linder’s, you must submit a copy of your Tax Exempt Certificate or a completed ST-3 form. To obtain an ST-3 form and further information click here. We are required by law to charge tax until we receive one of these completed forms.
