2012 North Oaks Holiday Home Tour Boutique & Luncheon -
A Fundraiser for Children's Hospitals
Changing Lives...One Child at a Time

Once again Linder’s was proud to partner with North Oaks Guild to participate in their fundraising efforts by decorating the exterior of two beautiful homes in the North Oaks Community. We hope you had a chance to visit these exquisitely decorated homes to support this wonderful event.

All proceeds benefit Children's Hospitals and Clinics of Minnesota. This annual event earns between $35,000 and $40,000 each year. Since its inception in 1962, the North Oaks Guild I has contributed a total of $670,257.00 to Children’s Hospital.

Linder's Flower Mart-Spring Fundraiser

In 2011 alone, Linder's mailed checks totaling over $50,000 to the participating fundraiser groups. Since 2006, we’ve donated more than $338,000!

Spring Tours for School Children

Hundreds of children get to see and experience first hand our greenhouses including our seeding, soil, and transplanting areas as well as the numerous growing greenhouses. However, the biggest hit is usually seeing our very own parrot "Baby" in our Retail Garden Center!

Here are just a couple of the many wonderful thank you notes we receive each year from school children who come to visit our greenhouse each spring.

Thank You from Girl Scout Troop

Hi Deb,

Our troop has sent a thank you in the mail and you should receive it shortly. I just wanted to express additional gratitude to you and Linders for helping us with this project. The girls enjoyed planting the flowers. When we delivered them to the Cerenity Care Center in White Bear Lake, it was such an awesome experience. There were many smiles and tears of happiness from the residents and our troop. You really helped us make a difference in so many lives.

Hope Community

Hello,

Thanks to you and Linder's for donating annuals and perennials for Hope Community’s recent volunteer event. The event was a great success with volunteers working on three of our major gardens over a 2-day period.

Hope Community is a non-profit community development organization in the Phillips Community in South Minneapolis, located just 10 blocks from the Minneapolis downtown business district. We build and manage affordable housing and offer community engagement activities for children, teens, young adults and families that builds and strengthens our community.
